The competition has the copyright of Furtados School of Music (hereinafter
referred to as "FSM"), having its office at 49, Ferns Villa, 52 Union Park,
Next to Quantum Park Society, Khar (West) Mumbai 400052.
Each entry must be entered in accordance with these terms and conditions.
By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms
and conditions. FSM may, in its discretion, refuse to award any prize to any
entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant
instructions on FSM’s website form part of these terms and conditions.
Entry to the competition is by registration(s) only. An entrant must be a
school student. Employees of FSM, any person associated with the
competition, and any organization or individual associated with the
provision of the prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
Categories: The competition will have three categories: Music, Dance,
Speech & Drama. For solos, we have subcategories: Age Group for all 3 categories:
• Classes 4th to 7th (based on entries received)
• Classes 8th to 10th (based on entries received)
We have introduced a new category called "Choir Singing”
(minimum 3 and maximum 10 people). Choirs must perform as a single
unit. All the rules and regulations are available on the website.
The bands can either consist of the same family of instruments or include a
mix of different instrumental groups.
The competition nominations open by acknowledging the invitation and
registering. The registration period closes at 11:59 p.m. on October 15th, 2025.
You must upload your audition video on or before October 15th, 2025. Any
entry received after the last date will be deemed invalid. FSM is not
responsible for any late acceptance, lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
Eligibility rules for the competition:

Participants must complete the registration process, including payment of the registration fee and submitting an audition video via a Zoho link sent to their registered email address.
The first round of auditions will consist of video submissions. A one-minute performance must be uploaded to the provided drive link, which will be evaluated by a central panel of judges.
Participants who qualify for round 2 should be able to travel to Mumbai, Pune, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Madurai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Udaipur, and Kolkata (or nearby locations) for the regional finale.
When selected, participants should be available to perform for the regional final round at a venue decided by FSM.
Performances should not exceed 3 minutes. Exceeding the time limit will result in disqualification.
Participants must be in grades 4–10 for Music, Dance, and Speech & Drama.
Bands: 3–7 members. Group Dance: 3–15 members. All must perform live in regional and grand finales.
Students must carry their school identity cards.
FSM will provide: a drum kit, 1 acoustic & electric guitar, 3 microphones, 1 keyboard & piano, and a PA system. No personal amplifiers allowed.
Solo singing and solo instrumental participants can sing/play with or without a backing track (minus vocals).
Each school can have more than one entry.
A student can participate in not more than two categories, and their roles must be different.
For example, a vocalist in one band cannot be the vocalist in another. Similarly, solo participants cannot register twice in the same solo category.
Your performance may be recorded, edited, or adapted by FSM for broadcasting, promotion, or other media platforms.
All performance footage (auditions, regional finals, grand finale) will be the property of FSM.
The most original and creative students will progress to the Semi Finale & Grand Finale and will be eligible for major prizes.
The decision of the judges at all stages will be final.
The final Bands & Group Dances will be required to travel to Mumbai for mentoring session(s) and the grand finale. Dates will be informed in advance.
Prizes:
• Trophy, medals, and certificates.
• Vouchers from Furtados Music India Ltd. for the winning participants.
No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. If unavailable, FSM reserves the right to provide a similar product.
FSM is not liable for transport, food, or any other expenses of participants/groups.
Your school agrees that:
• All entry details are true and accurate.
• You have all necessary rights and licenses to participate.
• Exercising rights granted to FSM will not infringe third-party rights.
The decisions of FSM and its judges are final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
If unforeseen events hinder FSM’s conduct of the competition or prize delivery, FSM may cancel or reschedule the competition at its discretion.
FSM is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, unauthorized access, or alteration of entries.
To the full extent permitted by law, FSM will not be liable for injury, damages, or loss to persons or property resulting from entering the competition or accepting a prize.
Each school should appoint a single point of contact responsible for student safety on behalf of the school.
